The RISE Awards
RISE stands for Rising Insurance Star Executives. The RISE Awards go to those who truly embody RISE. The world is ever changing and so is our industry. The insurance professionals being awarded are contributing to a brighter future for all of us.
The RISE Awards feature our 35 Under 35, Mentor of the Year, LEAD Award & Innovator of the Year. Nominations open every year in January and are open through mid February. Our annual Awards Gala honoring our award winners and finalists is hosted in person in the Summer.
35 Under 35
The RISE Award “35 Under 35” celebrates top rising stars in the insurance industry and is awarded to young professionals who are making an impact in their company, community, and the industry as a whole. This is the only award with an eligibility requirement – nominees must work in the insurance industry and be 35 years of age or under by June 19, 2024. Each year we receive dozens of nominations, making this award a coveted title.
Mentor of the Year
RISE Mentor of the Year is a prestigious award which recognizes the hard work and time commitment put in by those who mentor our RISE community. Anyone in the insurance industry can nominate or be nominated. Nominations open each year in January and finalists are announced virtually. The winner is announced live at the RISE Awards Gala.
LEAD Award
The LEAD (Leadership in Diversity and Equity) Award inspires a more diverse and inclusive culture in the Insurance Industry by celebrating those who are leading the way.

NEW! Innovator of the Year
The Innovator of the Year Award highlights and applauds individuals that have pioneered transformative solutions, setting new standards for the industry. Nominations open each year in January and finalists are announced virtually. The winner is announced live at the RISE Awards Gala.
RISE Elite 50 Internships
The RISE Elite 50 Internships is an annual program that identifies and publishes a list of the 50 best internship programs in the Insurance industry across the USA. In addition to the Elite 50 list, we have a dedicated interactive section of the RISE website and a featured Internship video that is shared across RISE’s social media platforms.
Nominations for the list can be submitted by the company or the participating interns as they answer a series of questions about the program. Multiple submissions are allowed and encouraged. There is NO fee to submit a nomination. The submissions will be scored according to the 10 categories. The list of 50 companies will be published alphabetically.
