  • Thank you for your interest in joining a RISE Committee! Our committees are vital to advancing RISE’s mission of empowering early-career professionals in the insurance industry through leadership, innovation, and meaningful community connections.

By joining a committee, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Contribute to impactful projects that align with RISE’s strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic network of leaders, innovators, and thought leaders.
  • Create valuable resources, content, and programs for the RISE community.
  • Expand your professional network and develop skills that support career growth.

We’re looking for passionate individuals to fill the following roles:

  • Content Creators: Develop engaging content like blogs, videos, and webinars that educate, inform, and spark conversations within the RISE community.
  • Experts & Thought Leaders: Share industry expertise and insights to help shape RISE’s educational content and position members as thought leaders in the field.
  • Networkers & Connectors: Leverage extensive professional networks to facilitate introductions and build relationships that enhance RISE’s influence and collaboration opportunities.
  • Program Supporters: Actively contribute to initiatives that support RISE programs, such as the Leadership Summit, Innovators Lab, Insurance Cares, and Elite 50 Internships.
  • Community Managers: Oversee the committee’s online space in the RISE Circle community. This role includes engaging with member posts, sharing updates, moderating discussions, and fostering meaningful connections within the community to create a positive and professional environment.

Attendance Commitment:

  • Minimum of 8 out of 12 meetings per year required for active participation. Members are expected to
    attend meetings regularly but can participate asynchronously by reviewing notes and providing
    feedback when unable to attend.
  • May not miss more than 3 consecutive meetings. Missing more than 3 consecutive meetings, or
    attending less than 8 meetings in the year will result in loss of committee seat.
  • Flexibility will be offered through the option to engage with committee work outside of meetings,
    ensuring that members with busy schedules can still contribute meaningfully

 

Each committee meets monthly to set goals, share progress, and brainstorm new initiatives that align with RISE’s strategic objectives. Members are expected to actively contribute to committee activities and participate in meetings or provide feedback when unable to attend.
