Terms of Service

Organization: Rising Insurance Star Executives, LLC (“RISE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)

  1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the RISE website, community platform, events, programs, or services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

You represent that you are at least 13 years old.

  1. Description of Services

RISE provides professional development resources, networking opportunities, educational content, membership programs, events, and related services for insurance professionals and students.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without liability.

  1. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your login credentials
  • Promptly update your information as needed
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

  1. Memberships and Payments

Certain Services require paid membership or event registration.

By purchasing, you agree that:

  • All fees are stated in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted
  • Payments are non-refundable except as stated in a specific refund policy
  • We may change pricing with reasonable notice
  • You authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge applicable fees
  • Failure to pay may result in suspension of access.
  1. Events and Programs

Participation in RISE events and programs is subject to availability and any additional terms provided at registration.

By attending an event, you acknowledge:

  • You participate at your own risk
  • You agree to follow venue rules and our Code of Conduct
  • We may photograph or record events for promotional purposes
  • If you do not wish to be photographed, you must notify us in writing prior to the event.
  1. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
  • Interfere with the operation of the Services
  • Use the community for spam or unauthorized promotion

We may remove content or terminate access at our discretion.

  1. Community Conduct

RISE is a professional community. Users must engage respectfully.

We reserve the right to remove content or restrict participation for behavior that is:

  • Harassing
  • Discriminatory
  • Disruptive
  • Unprofessional
  • In violation of our community standards

No refunds will be issued for removals based on conduct violations.

  1. Intellectual Property

All content provided by RISE — including logos, materials, courses, graphics, and branding — is owned by RISE or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute materials without permission
  • Use RISE branding without written consent
  • Create derivative works from our content

Limited personal, non-commercial use is permitted.

  1. User Content

If you submit or post content (including profiles, comments, or uploads), you grant RISE a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Services.

You represent that you have the rights to any content you submit.

  1. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or tools. RISE is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties.

Use them at your own discretion.

  1. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RISE disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including:

  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RISE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to RISE in the 12 months preceding the claim.

  1. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RISE, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Services
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  1. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to the community.

Sections that should survive termination will remain in effect.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Florida.

  1. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date above.

Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
