RISE and IASIU Join Forces in a Big Win for SIU Young Professionals

Rising Insurance Star Executives, LLC, also known as R.I.S.E., and IASIU announced that five scholarships will be awarded this year, as part of a special partnership aimed at promoting young professionals in SIU.   

The scholarships are funded by IASIU and sponsors of RISE, including companies like GEICO and MetLife. Applications will be accepted via the R.I.S.E. website through July 31^st. Winners will be selected by the R.I.S.E. advisory board and approved by IASIU.

“We are excited to partner with R.I.S.E. to further awareness of IASIU within the young SIU professional community. IASIU is committed to supporting our young SIU professional community and consider them instrumental in building and guiding our organization into the future,” commented Celeste Dodson, IASIU Vice President.

“We value organizations like IASIU who are willing to support the movement for young professionals in the insurance industry,” added Amy Cooper, founder of R.I.S.E. “In today’s world, getting young professionals involved in conferences like IASIU’s Annual Seminar are critical to engaging and retaining talent in our industry.”

Both organizations share a passion for the future of the insurance industry, and specifically the SIU community. This partnership highlights the benefits of collaboration, not just for the young professionals who are receiving the scholarships, but also for the industry as a whole.

Partnering with IASIU allows us to open what some see as a very closed area of the insurance industry to associates who may have never considered this path.”

This year’s IASIU conference in Phoenix, AZ will kick off with a joint reception for R.I.S.E. professionals and new IASIU members to network, meet the IASIU board and chapter presidents, and recognition for the scholarship winners.
