I’m New to RISE, Now What?

Welcome! We’re so glad to have you as part of the RISE community. There are so many resources available to you, it just depends on your goals. This article is a good place to start, but if you have any questions, please email us at hello@riseprofessionals.com

I want to NETWORK

Start by following RISE on LinkedIn. Next, look at our event calendar to find the next networking event or committee meeting. Sit in on a committee meeting to meet other RISE members. Volunteer for any of the projects we have going on and meet tons of other members.

I’m looking for EDUCATION

If you want CE, go to the event calendar and look for webinars marked CE eligible. To learn more about insurance and other topics, you can watch past webinars, videos, and interviews of insurance execs on our YouTube channel. Our blog is also a great resource. As in person events start to open up, keep an eye out on our newsletter and LinkedIn for scholarship announcements for a way to attend conferences for free.

I need CAREER ADVICE

Sign up for our mentorship program if you’re looking for someone with experience to help you through some of your tough decisions. If you want to learn more about different paths in insurance, check out THIS ARTICLE.

I’m looking for a JOB

Search our job board and apply for openings. Use our resources tab to prepare yourself for the interview and work on your resume. Ask us if you don’t find what you’re looking for (DM or hello@riseprofessionals.com)

I heard you give out AWARDS

Yes, we do! Our RISE Awards recognizing rising stars in the industry is every spring. Nominations open up in January. Our Elite 50 Internships is in the fall/winter.

What about LEADERSHIP opportunities

Our committees have tons of leadership opportunities available. Write for our blog and show that you are a thought leader.

I don’t know what I want

Join the club. Best advice is to just do something. Join a committee. Show up to an event. RISE is what you make it.
